Yesterday is history, tomorrow's a mystery...

Yesterday is history, tomorrow’s a mystery - my quote of the week, and if you know correctly it’s Justin Timberlake’s new song mirrors, my new fave song.  Yes yes he’s back and so that makes me a happy bunny :)

This week’s blog we were told to blog on anything... an open blog... so I’ve decided to do a reflection of my second year at uni so far.

From being oblivious to the whole blogging scene I must say I have taken a liking to blogging regularly and voicing my opinions in more depth than the regular 140 characters of my twitter update. More so I shared my blog with my twitter followers... whether they’re nosy enough to read I’m not too sure but hey its up there :P

Social research... social research... social research... [tongue twisty enough?]... looking forward to the group project we have to do involving researching research. (which is a very vague way of putting what we have to do) Ideas are still in the air but soon we’ll have a hypothesis etc down and ready to go :)

After getting semester 1 results back, I’m satisfied (not entirely) but content with results, ready to knuckle down more so for semester 2 assignments as they creep upon me ... presentation (yes you probably all know to which dreaded one I’m referring to)

However mysterious tomorrow may be I am one for big plans. After my sociology degree I am planning to do a PGCE and so I can teach sociology to college students. (Any student younger than that I’m not sure I’ll be able to handle ... mentally) I’m looking to study in Manchester, a city I have great unexplainable love for J just like my unexplainable love for sociology, so why not put the two together and live a little :P

I think that’s enough insight into my thinking for one week...
Till the next time, ‘peace out homies’ as a good friend likes to say :) :)

Yours Truly, now a more wafflier Sociologist in the making :)

  1. Another lively and engaging blog here. This blog lacks some of the reflexive thought evident in previous blogs - reference to academic, or other, material would perhaps have offered a way of developing your ideas. 2
